It’s a Sin comes to the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton from 20 to 22 May 2027.

Rambert’s new dance work is inspired by the landmark Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. It is the story of four young people in 1980s London, the world they built together, and what the AIDS crisis did to it. There is no dialogue: the whole thing is carried by movement, music and design.

The production is directed and choreographed by Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, with Russell T Davies, Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell as executive producers.

Please note the production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
