It's a Sin is coming to
Sheffield
It’s a Sin closes its 2027 UK tour at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield from 9 to 13 November. These are the final performances of the run, nine months after the work opens in Manchester.
Rambert’s dance work is inspired by the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. It follows Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill through 1980s London, from the freedom of those first years to the losses that come with the AIDS crisis, weaving past and present into something raw and devastating.
It is directed and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer, Rambert’s Artistic Director, with Kaite O’Reilly as dramaturg and Jill Nalder as consultant. Russell T Davies, Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell are executive producers.
Tickets for Sheffield are released on 17 October. Sign up for Rambert news to hear when booking opens.
The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
