It’s a Sin comes to Norwich Theatre Royal from 15 to 19 June 2027, the company’s only date in the east of England on this tour.

The work is Rambert’s dance adaptation of the world of the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. In the heart of 1980s London, Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill are building lives on their own terms. When the AIDS crisis arrives, love, fear and defiance collide, and they fight for each other in a world turning hostile around them.

Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer directs and choreographs. The score is by composer and music supervisor Roman GianArthur, and the set and video design is by Luke Halls.

Rambert is one of Britain’s oldest dance companies, founded in 1926, and reaches audiences across the UK each year through touring work like this one.

The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
