It’s a Sin runs at the Theatre Royal Newcastle from 29 June to 3 July 2027, the tour’s furthest north date in England.

Rambert’s new dance work takes its starting point from the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. It follows four young people through 1980s London, from the freedom they find in each other to the years when the AIDS crisis takes that freedom apart, and it is told entirely in movement.

The production is directed and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer, with Russell T Davies, Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell as executive producers and Kaite O’Reilly as dramaturg.

Please note the production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
