It's a Sin is coming to
Luxembourg
It’s a Sin plays Les Théâtres de la Ville in Luxembourg from 4 to 7 March 2027. This is the only date outside the UK on the whole tour.
Les Théâtres de la Ville is one of the production’s four co-producers, alongside Wales Millennium Centre, Capital Theatres and Sadler’s Wells, so the company arrives in Luxembourg at a venue that helped make the work rather than simply booked it.
Rambert’s dance work takes Russell T Davies’ Channel 4 series as its starting point: four young people in 1980s London, chasing identity and connection, and then living through the arrival of the AIDS crisis. It is told entirely through movement, and it asks who gets remembered and who gets left behind.
Benoit Swan Pouffer directs and choreographs. Roman GianArthur is composer and music supervisor, and Luke Halls designed the set and video.
The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
