It’s a Sin plays the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh from 8 to 12 June 2027.

Rambert’s dance work is inspired by the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. Four friends chase identity and connection in 1980s London, in a world of music and abandon where life feels limitless, and then the AIDS crisis begins to unfold and everything shifts.

It is directed and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer, Rambert’s Artistic Director, and performed by the company’s dancers. Jill Nalder, who knew the world the original series drew on, is consultant on the production.

Please note the production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
