It's a Sin is coming to
Milton Keynes
It’s a Sin runs at Milton Keynes Theatre from 25 to 29 May 2027, closing a busy May that also takes the company to Plymouth and Southampton.
Rambert’s work is inspired by the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies and follows Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill through 1980s London. It moves between the freedom of those first years and the losses that follow, weaving past and present into something raw and visceral, and it asks how we choose to live now.
Benoit Swan Pouffer directs and choreographs, with dramaturgy by Kaite O’Reilly and music supervision by Jenn Egan and Hayley Smith.
The production has been supported by Arts Council England’s Incentivising Touring scheme, a pilot that helps mid to large scale productions reach regional venues, and by the Colwinston Charitable Trust.
The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
