It's a Sin is coming to
Plymouth
It’s a Sin plays the Theatre Royal Plymouth from 11 to 15 May 2027, the furthest south west the tour reaches until it returns to Cornwall in September.
The production is Rambert’s dance response to the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. It begins in 1980s London with Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill finding each other and finding a life on their own terms, and it follows them as the AIDS crisis turns that life inside out.
Benoit Swan Pouffer, Rambert’s Artistic Director, directs and choreographs. The design is by Luke Halls, with costume by Susan Bender-Whitfield and costume adaptation and technical design by Natalie Pryce.
Rambert has been making bold and often difficult work since 1926, and this is among the largest touring productions in the company’s recent history.
The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
