It’s a Sin runs at the Theatre Royal Glasgow from 2 to 6 November 2027, the company’s second Scottish date after Edinburgh in June and one of the last two runs of the tour.

Rambert’s dance work is inspired by the Channel 4 series by Russell T Davies. Four young people find each other in 1980s London and build something of their own, and then the AIDS crisis arrives and they fight for each other in a world that is turning against them.

The production is directed and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer and performed by Rambert’s dancers. The music is by composer and music supervisor Roman GianArthur, with music supervision by Jenn Egan and Hayley Smith.

Rambert has been making work that pushes at the edges of what dance can be since 1926, and It’s a Sin is among the most ambitious productions the company has toured.

The production contains strong language, sexual content, partial nudity, and themes of HIV and AIDS, grief and homophobia.
